Award-winning Brazilian Director & Founder of Peculiar Pictures Julia Zanin de Paula is a Brazilian director with over a decade of experience directing films, commercials, and music videos. Now based in New York, she has led campaigns for global brands such as Walmart, Volkswagen, Coca-Cola, Ray-Ban, Polaroid, and Mastercard.
As the founder of Peculiar Pictures, Julia is passionate about fantastic realism — crafting stories that blend authenticity, imagination, and impact, and bringing a distinctive voice to every project she takes on.
Carol Caliri

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Carolina Caliri is an Executive Producer with over 8 years of experience creating audiovisual content for global brands such as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star+, ESPN, Warner, Sony, Universal Music, and Netflix Brazil. She is passionate about product placement and developing strategies that connect brands and products with stories that truly resonate with audiences.
Now based in New York, Carolina works as an Executive Producer at Peculiar Pictures, collaborating with agencies, brands, and production companies to bring meaningful stories to life.
Guilherme Peres

Guilherme Peres is a Brazilian video artist and Head of Post Production at Peculiar Pictures. With 16 years of experience, he has edited campaigns for global brands such as Coca-Cola, Ambev, Adidas, Walmart, Shell, Unilever, Mastercard, Volkswagen, and Camaro, as well as music videos for artists like Gilberto Gil, Sheherazaad, and EZI. His work has been featured in international festivals including Kinoscope NYC, Milano Fashion Film Festival, and Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin.

Lygia runs the digital strategy at Peculiar Pictures, creating and executing content for brands like Rake Wine Bar, Brisa Suave, and Big Idea Advertisement. From photo and video production to creative direction and script development, she loves turning ideas into content that feels fresh, authentic, and shareable.Passionate about blending creativity with what’s viral, she transforms cultural trends into engaging stories that connect brands with audiences on a deeper level.
Bruno Maud

Bruno Mad is a composer, music producer, and Head of Sound Design at Peculiar Pictures. With over 15 years of experience in sound for film, advertising, and performing arts, he has worked on recording, editing, and mixing soundtracks, as well as contributing to the sound design of numerous audiovisual projects across Brazil.
